Hello members , I am new here and DO NOT own a Camaro as of yet. I Am 20 years old and i just got a pretty good job from my last one so i can afford a camaro SS now BUT i have a question... Should I get a Camaro 2013 LE or should I wait for the 6th gen which I don't know when it will be out ? Leave answers please , thank you.

Not knowing your finances I would consider a 2010 low mile SS. You can get one for $25,000 and it will be easier for you to insure. If you go with a 2013 SS you will be in the high 30's and LE high 40's. Just a thought.

yeah man think of the insurance!
You should call your insurance and get an estimated quote of you driving a 1LE so you can get an idea. Im 22 yrs old and drive a v6 but if you have the extra $ to buy a 1LE and pay for the insurance then go ahead.

Eh I'm 21 just got my camaro 2013 2ss/rs it was 41k and it's about 650 a month and my insurance for full coverage on my camaro and Camry is only 200 but like they said I would tlk to your insurance company and get quotes.
But to answer your question IMO I would go for the 2013, I think the 6th gen won't be out till late this year to mid of next year if remember right and there is a possibility that you won't like the look of it. But on the other hand you can wait and see what it looks like (in the mean time get a beater car) and if you don't like the 6th gen get the 2013 and I'm sure the price would drop a little or if you like the 6th gen then hold off and hold onto that beater car till then buttttt this is just my opinion of course |

Go with the facts. Do we know what the 6th Gen looks like? No. Has the model year been confirmed? No. We honestly don't know much about the 6th Gen. Now we do know the 2013 SS 1LE is a special vehicle. Plenty of pictures, confirmed specs, etc. You may want to look in the 1LE forum for any additonal information. It all boils down to what do YOU want to do I'll repeat it again, . Sure you can wait until the 6th Gen and until then save and put some money aside for a bigger down payment or you can live in the moment and buy a 2013 model year. Congrats either way and good luck... Find New Roads... |
