Ladies and Gentlemen!
"GM began building the Camaro, which starts at $22,995, including shipping, on March 16. GM estimates that it will take until May or June to fill the 14,000sold orders in hand."
Pretty amazing news, right? http://www.courant.com/business/hc-a...,2274397.story

That would be great if they actually did it.

If that's the case, then they better move mine up from first week of May to now. I'm only #3 at my dealer with about 14 more behind me. And my dealer had no April builds allowed and only 2 in March.

I'm just sitting here at my computer waiting patiently. It would be great if mine comes around my birthday. It would make the best present ever!

As long as the line is and keeps rolling is all I care about. One step closer to the repo man and Operation Vulture.

So long as I get my pre-ordered car before anybody can walk into a dealer and drive one out the same day.

So even if the projected complete month is true, do the cars just wait in Oshawa until third quarter if they weren't part of the initial allocation for a dealer?

Well the article is getting info from other sources.....what it immediately states is WRONG:
"Sources say General Motors has delayed indefinitely the Chevrolet Camaro convertible and Z28 high-performance variant to save cash, AutoWeek magazine reported." I know that to be FALSE. So the credibility factor for me goes in the toilet right away. |
