Yep, before you take the vehicle off the lot you and the rental company do a walk around and do an inventory on all the damage that has already been done to the car. If there is new damage that wasn't annotated from before you left, then you pay for it.

Wish I knew the back story, didn't watch it long enough to find out. Surprised the air bags didn't deploy.
