pics do not do justice on the 2014 camaro, i was at the ny auto show for the reveal and it looks 100% in person.

Have not read this whole thread but I don't really care what they've done to this masterpiece - I have a 2013 SS and love it. What really matters to me is what Chevrolet plans to do for the 6th generation. I will eventually need a new Camaro that's equally cool!

In the 14's defense. Every single person that I know that has seen it in person says it looks great.

Back is similar to the prelude, the front resembles the 2013 jetta hybrid with its chrome trim. Maybe it would look less awkward with 4 doors. Camaro had its ups and downs in design over the past decades. Cant wait to see the next generation.

funny these 2014 supporters, trying to defend a failed design attempt. Why should we(naysayers) support this design? Be sympathetic that it's another Camaro? Look at all the other Generation that were like yeah it's OK, but never sold squat. Is that acceptable from a business stand point? Wake up already. Why do you think GM went bankrupt in the 1rst place, because their car designs were lame, uninteresting, and didn't sell. Blame it on the economy, right. Why did the Imports have better luck, then? Blame it on the stagnant designers that couldn't come up w/ a design that sells. Seems to be cycling that way again..albeit the Corvettes & Cadillacs might pick up their slack..

..there's way too many 'thumbs down' on this refresh to consider it be a success, imo. Another refresh tweaking may be deemed necessary to change minds and increase sales, prior to the 6th release.

I agree, I was never and never will be a fan of ANY of the older camaros. Just don't look interesting to me in any way.

The first render of 5th Gen Camaro is amazing and that is why I have one.

The new Camaro render is not very good looking, My brother looked at the pic and said " That is not the new Camaro, that thing is ugly! This is an April fools joke." He wouldn't believe me until I showed him the rest of the thread.

I mean maybe the old car was too aggressive of a look compared to the corvette and zl1, so they toned it down to sway buyers to more expensive cars.

I really cannot see why they did this, I think they should have just left everything the same way and put in LED taillights, new interior, new hood, new wheels, new spoiler, and put in an option of Recaro seats, then call it a day. It probably would have been much cheaper for GM to do it this way too.

I dont think this is going to put Chevrolet bankrupt again...I do think the camaro sales are going to decrease for 2014. I think they did a great job on the Corvette, so hopefully the 6th generation Camaro will be much better.

Dont fix something that isn't broken CHEVROLET!!!!

Wow, Still NOT LIKING the refresh.

The Problem with this Refresh is that we went from a car that looks killer and beauty from every angle. Too a car the Only looks good at a few angles, AND I MEAN A VERY FEW angles. Good being the keyword here NOT beauty.

I think the grey Camaro is a V6 "Performance Pack" test mule. The suspension ride height is low and the exhaust is interesting.

I really like the new design, but i must agree that the non-ss frontbumper looks a bit too harm to me.

In direct comparison I really think the 14 looks absolutely amazing - it's different, kind of a new approach in the look, but amazing.

Okay, got to say that I'm german and I really disliked the way the eu model looked. I've heard the 14 will look in eu the same as the us model, which for me is the point where I will finally become a camaro owner
