Thoughts on Pricing
I was riding around today and found a 2012 2ss camaro convertible in victory red, with the synergy package. Sticker on the car was like 47k and some change. Any thoughts on what this car could be bought for since its a 2012?

if you are a really good negotiator you could get them down to 42. wouldnt expect much less. after all it is a hot camaro.

lol at first i read that as 47k miles, I was like holy crap someone drove a 2012 47k miles already?
about 5 months ago I got my 45th 2SS vert for 39k and change before junk fees etc., I think it was 42,500 after the three extra warranties and tax. so around 39.5k sticker basicly. you should be paying a minimum of 1k under invoice, probably more by now, theres a thread on here were someone states they got a 2013 at invoice. If thats true, you definatly should be way under invoice for a 2012. |

Got my 13 at invoice wasn't a vert but I payed 39k for mine fully loaded. I'm sure you can get a better price I'd shop around.

dont forget, you can negotiate buying the car you looked at, at a different dealer if they will give you a good price. at most you pay a transfer fee, but often not that.
so you dont have to stick with what they have on the other dealers lot if you really like the one you saw. |

I've tried to deal with parks in huntersville before and it was brutal, I have seen some low prices at the one in kenersville, how was the overall experience?

Did they try to make any extra off the financing? Like trying to get you for a higher rate?

I came with my own financing. So no hassle there.

Not to hijack the thread but I took a Sunday car lot drive myself today and one of the local dealers still had a $1500 adjusted market value mark up on every single Camaro they had on the lot. I can't believe that in almost 4 years of production if you include 2013's that dealerships are still using that crap.

I'm not familiar with that, or maybe I've never seen it in north Carolina

I was in Greensboro yesterday looking and I didn't see any of that when I stopped by the local dealer. I have heard on these boards that ZL1's were being marked up in various cities but never have it on regular models. This dealer had every single 12' on the lot including a base automatic LS with that $1500 markup.
