Surreal - the time between getting "THE call" and the time you actually see her for the first time (turns into lust after that) . Got the call at 1 PM on 6/5/2009. Got on the road to the dealership by 2PM. Took me 2 very long hours of Friday early rush hour traffic, complicated by lane restrictions and heavy rains, to get there. No way was I going to wait until Saturday morning.

Pics to follow. It's been raining steadily here for two days but I took a bunch of pics at the dealership. Hoping to get some sunshine this weekend.

A big shout out to the guys at Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, VA for being absolutely great to deal with. MSRP was honored as agreed to.

First impression: awesome - totally f'ing awesome



p.s. the only down note had nothing to do with the car - I got home to find a summons to jury duty in my mailbox .

Surreal for me was I spoke with my dealer yesterday at 2pm and asked for a shipping update and was told it was just taken off a rail car and would likely be about a week

3 hours later I get the following text message from my sales manager "your camaro is here....no sh_t"
