Gas mileage #'s in your ZL1

I know mpg's aren't a big thing to zl1 owners and I don't care what it gets to tell you the truth but when I was comparing fuel consumption to some of my past vehicles it's kinda strange to me when I get to our cars. I always thought GM engines were the most fuel efficient but my zl1 doesn't even know what the word efficient means and I haven't been driving with a heavy foot either. My ford raptor is averaging 12.7 and that's a 6000+lb truck with 4.10s and 35 inch tires and it gives my zl1 a run for its money in avg mpg. 12.7 to 12.9.... Can some one please explain to me why these two would even be in the same range of each other? I know a supercharger doesn't help that cause but to be getting the same amount as a big heavy truck that has everything working against it doesn't make sense to me. I didn't buy either of these cars for fuel economy but I did expect a gap between the two especially when I've been babying the pedal in my Z. Just put on new rear tires last week so maybe that will help a bit

Mines a automatic but it's not like I should be seeing such a huge difference from your guys averages. I either have someone driving my car when I'm not looking or something isn't right I'll reset my avg. mpg gauge again but if it doesn't increase I'm going to have to take it in to get checked or something

1/2 tank of gas per. Day of 1/4 mile racing. The mileage is worse than my pickups!

1600 miles 14.8 read out I haven't done the math. My only wish is a larger tank.

There are so many variables that affect mileage on these cars. My mileage will vary anywhere from 10 mpg around town to 22 mpg straight highway. Mine is an auto. It is by far the worst I've ever owned when it comes to fuel economy.
