i have the first shift and didnt really like how it was all race oriented. im a bigger fan of upgrading and racing on the streets. the graphics and everything like that are sweet though.

I'm probably going to pass on this, I had the first one and like 69Z/28Camaro said i like the street racing, it will probably be a great game but i'm gonna stick with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit!!!!

I will probably get this one. Was playing the first one and my phat ps3 YLOD'd on me and then I got a slim and replayed a good chunk of the game and got stuck. Then I saw Shift 2 was coming out soon (this is back in December) and popped Shift in and had my platinum a week later!

 I love that trailer in HD. It makes me want to buy that NFS Shift 2. NFS never fails to amuse me.

Anyone have this yet? I plan on picking up 2 copies (1 for me and 1 for a friend) and play tonight. Plus I just joined the rewards program for Sears and Kmart. You get a $20 gaming gift certificate with purchase of shift 2 today (or this week)

So after 4 stores, the 5th store had S2U last night! Only got to play a couple hours but from what I played, I'm glad I bought it. Loved the first one.

Got the game last night, only played for about an hour though before bed. Helmet cam is interesting, takes a little bit to get used to.
