I would do anything to be able to disable. I have been driving a stick for over 20 years and do not need it. In its current form all it does is make me mad.

Seems like everyone has a lot of petty gripes. This and that, yadda yadda. We're driving one of the hottest cars on the road...

I believe this is the 1 thread for the annoyances of the camaro? We all know the things about it that make it great.
The point of this thread was to say the petty things that annoy us.

Drivers around me suddenly gets a boost of power and wants to show off their cars when they drive by. Once they get a distance away, back to driving slow. Its like the Gen5 Camaro wills others to press on the gas!
Yesterday, I was about to pass a Prius driver on the freeway and as I got within 4-5 car lengths from him, he peers in his side mirror at me and just took off like a bat-out-of-hell.
What the heck was that I thought to myself? Must have wanted a Camaro but his wife MADE him get a Prius :-)

Mr William could you make a post to inform All OF C5 for the official diagnosis?

Hateful people. I've been cut off, tailgated, and ran up on (like while I'm going through a 4 way stop) more than any other car I've owned.

Active fuel management. At least give us the option of being able to turn it off if we wanted to.

Having to do a fuse pull. We shouldn't need to have to reset the octane table, this should be done automatically.

The paint could be better quality, this is a pretty common gripe. I've seen much lesser quality cars with better paint jobs.

The leather could be better quality as well.

That's about it. These are all pretty common problems and concerns that I've read on this board a couple of times and should be addressed in the newest model. Other then that, I think the car is amazing and it has no comparison on the road.

Another annoyance is my Boston acoustic system. To pay money for an upgraded system that's shotty is kinda dumb. Even with the bass turn down the sub distorts. Already had it replaced once under warranty.

I hate when the USB has to index and how it is in the center console and not under the dash. And I hate when my blue tooth disconnects over and over again.

happens ALL the time here. I especially try to avoid making eye contact at a light with people because they always want to race.
