Got a couple questions. i know you mentioned the condition in your original post but i was just curious as to why you are selling this at half the price of its retail value?

Does this come with the pre-drilled holes for the hood pins? Because I am not looking for that. Dont want holes for hood pins.

Been looking for one of these hoods for sale near me (California) but haven't seen one yet. And at this price, its just crazy no one scooped this up yet since you've posted this on 11/02. Is this a true Anderson Composites brand?

And how much you figure shipping would be to 94015?

The company I purchased it from sent me two and of course I only ordered and needed one. They didn't want it back so I'm selling it.

It comes with pre-drilled holes for the hood mount and latch only. No holes for hood pins. I didn't want the hood pins either.

Since you already have the weight and dimensions, what would shipping be to Columbia, Mo. 65201? Insurance included.... Is FedEx closest to you? Might there be any other options in your area?
Did you get the other hood installed? What did you end up using for under hood insulation?

Thanks for the info! But did you type that correctly?! $2098.00?!?! I've shipped wheels on a pallet before weighing 150+lbs single stacked up high measuring about 4ft tall and it cost a fraction of that. And it cost me $2200 to ship my ZL1 in an enclosed trailer from Nashua, NH to me. I'm hoping it's a typo

Yes. The price is exactly as Fed Ex freight quoted. Even though the hood weighs only 15 lbs and the shipping box only 5 pounds, Fed Ex and UPS said it’s the size of the box that drives the cost up. You can check with them yourself if you don’t believe what I told you.

Not that I don't believe you, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a typo. But the shipping cost for something like that is absurd.

What were the dimensions again?

I’ve shipped out a pen hood in the same box. Didn’t post that at all. Shipping was around 300 for me shipped.

The box is 64"x63"x8". Fed Ex quoted the price. The buyer can arrange their own shipping. He asked for a quote and I gave him the one Fed Ex gave me. If the buyer still wants it, maybe you can get the name and contact for the shipper UTURNMOTORSPORTS used to ship his hood and schedule a pick-up.
