SOMEONE HIT AND DENTED MY CAR DOOR :(

My wonderful husband was washing my 'ROCKETSHIP' today when, 'lo and behold' there was a paint scuff mark and a DENT! on the passenger side door that wasn't there when he washed it last week....

I, like the rest of you, very carefully and with much thought, try my best to put my car in the best possible position whenever I have to park it....

I know it's not a big deal in the 'grand scheme of life', but I just wanted some sympathy and love from my Camaro5 family.....:(


BTW, my brother bought the 2010 Equinox in the RJT because he loves the color of my car so much...we were at the diner together 2 weeks ago, and just finishing our meals when someone comes in the diner and asks, "Who has the red Equinox?"...turns out a teenage girl hit my brother's car and panicked and drove home...fortunately for my brother, the parents came back to 'fess up'...it was dark out by then, so my brother probably wouldn't have noticed it until the next day...his entire driver's door is very badly dented, and needs to be replaced...the estimate is $1600+.....

So, I guess we both had our 'moments' now...
He also put a lot of thought into picking the best parking spot....:(

p.s. I don't want to post photos...I'm traumatized enough...at least my dent is on the passenger side, so I don't have to look at it everytime I get in my car...

that sucks, these camaros seem to be an absolute magnet for door dents. People see the camaro and simply must park next to it and fling their doors open. It's like the bugs who are compelled to fly into the bug light and die.

Well that just sux, just get the rocketship fixed asap and try not to walk around to the passenger side in the meantime

Why are people so inconsiderate when opening their doors.

im very sorry, just like the last poster said, no matter how careful we are people always seem to park very close to our beautiful cars.

that suCksss . i feel your pain. I feel really bad for you because I have seen all your posts for a long time and know how hardcore of a Camaro fan you are.Hope its an easy and painless fix. Damn those inconsiderate asses...Do they think we park away from them for our health?? well, we sort of do because the extra long walks are good for us

Im so sorry to hear about your car...I know how you feel, it happens to me everyday at school...I park all the way in the back and even though there is so much parking space all around everyone has to park next to my car...it makes me so

That stinks. I hate people that do that kind of stuff. I always park as far away as possible. Lazy people that would let their door smack into your car are less likely to want to walk. Of course the attention these cars brings makes it so people are always parking next to you or I've even caught people doing circles around it in the parking lot. Fortunately if I know I'm going somewhere where I can't park safely I can take my truck. It's to bad that people don't respect each others property.

Try all you want, but we all know it won't work. You'll be sitting in the car and glance over at the passenger side and swear you can see the bulge sticking out through the interior door panels.... Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" doesn't just work with sound :(
