That is not a good sign. Welcome to the forum. BTW a piece of friendly advice to keep the hazing to a minimum you may want to check your spelling, it is spelled CAMARO.

Some people are kind of touchy when it comes to spelling Camaro and they can get a little bitchy about it. I was just giving you a heads up.

Nice! I'm partial to 2nd gens since I had two of them. Once you fix it it will be a awesome baseline. If I still had my 2nd gens I would now do a LS swap.
What are your plans for the car? |

Nice project. What did you pay? I so want a LS powered 81 Z28.
I've owned two 1981 Z28s. I traded in my 1st 81 Z28 with 260K miles on it with only a water pump, battery & brakes being replaced. AC still worked with no service ever. My Wife ordered a new 1979 Camaro 305 2bl back in the day but received a 350 4bl with gauges. It ran flawless for over 140K miles before we traded it in for a new 1987 Monte Carlo SS. I've also owned a few 1st, 3rd, 4th & 5th gen Camaros. In my pic below left of my Challenger is my Son's 1974 Camaro 550+hp 468BBC Father/Son project.
