Thanks Dave! That really looks awesome! But I'm wondering how much it will stand out with a white car. I do love what they've done with the car. If anyone knows who this car belongs to, I would love to know where they bought the stuff to do it. And thank you everyone for your opinions. It is really making me feel better hearing your stories, advice, and opinions. I do like the tinting as well, but not sure if it will be enough to make me happy. It's a tough call. I doubt any bank would give me financing if they add on whatever the difference would be and I'm guessing it's going to be a lot.

I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the '14 tails... they look like '69 tails, my fav.

Nope because I prefer the '14s as well. But it all comes down to personal preference.

Hello there BMDM,
Hey I want to tell you I kind of agree with you as far as the 2014 model. As far as color, I own a red '95 convertable(not thrilled with the color), and a 2011 1LT RS Coupe with 6M. Now this is the V6 and everyone told me I should have gotten the V8. But I am perfectly happy with my V6 and the color and everything. I did get the dealer available options which make it pretty special. Have a look. So I got the Herritage Grille(the bowtie is conspicuously missing). I forget what the spoiler was called but both were offered by GM and the dealer ordered them and installed them. With the original stuff, take a look. So I have had a lot of comments about my Camaro5. Anyone who has said anything about it were good. I have a theory that if you replaced the fascia with a 2013 or earlier, it would fit fine. You might want to talk to your dealer. Hope you get what you want in the end. Troy Lawson PS: I just wanted to add that I really wanted the high spoiler, and the pacecar or Indy stripes when I was ordering my Camaro. So this is what I wound up with. You can also throw some mods into the mix, which is what I am going to do. To each his own. Last edited by lawman007; 08-30-2014 at 11:18 PM. |

Yea, But to be fair I do see a lot of SS's for 32,000 and v6's for a lot cheaper than what the 10-13's was going for! Plus, GM is advertising the crap out of them! I wonder why they didn't advertise the 10-13 Camaro's except around Superbowl time! Just wondering ... That's a embarrassment to the 14's if you need basically a Ford product to make your 14 taillights look nice! Which I don't think you do! Quote:
Uh, He's saying that sells doesn't mean squat ! Unless you bought a Justin beiber CD! Quote:
If you have to give something time that you're paying on than that is a waste of money! IMO.... |

get a set of GTS covers for the tail lights. I have removed (thanks Spike III) the GTS logo from them and also blacked out the bow tie since this pic but looks a lot better with the covers. stay away from the tint film, it just does not look good. the spray on tint looks good but getting both to be equal in darkness can be an issue.

The 2014 Camaro tail lights look nothing like the Corvette tail lights. Maybe the 2010-13 do but not 2014.

hahaha ..... GM changed the taillights only to cut cost because they wouldn't have to make two sets of taillights ! We all know 69 taillights and those aren't 69's on the 14's , only shaped similar!

Where did you buy the tail light covers? Does gts have a website you can order them from or are they sold online? Thank you everyone for sharing the pictures! I'm loving this! Getting some ideas if I keep the car. Thanks again! I really appreciate it! Keep the ideas and pics coming.
