I have drivin the nissans off the ships here in the port of LA. They are fun cars to drive. They shift real nice and they are fast. The problem I have with them is they are too small for me and they lack the character of the camaro. Too cookie cutter for me. They all look the same. Look at all the different styling combinations everyone here has come up with for the camaro. One 370Z looks the same as the next one to me. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I guess we should all be happy that not everyone likes the camaro. Then there would be no rivalry. And thats half the fun for me.

If I were to buy another import the 370z would be one of my top considerations, BUT even so the main reason I am chosing the Camaro over it is because it is simply too small inside for me. I have owned small 2 seat sports cars many times over and I always get tired of the small interiors. I take many long drives (Vegas, Phoenix, etc) and in a small car it gets uncomfortable.

The other advantage IMO the Camaro has is the rumble of a V8. I am almost ashamed to admit how many cars I've owned at 30 years old....19 so far, but out of all those cars the one I miss the most was my '91 Firebird Formula 350. The deep sound of that engine through Flowmasters was intoxicating. I really REALLY regret selling that car.

hmmmm I saw the 370 in Portland at the auto show.... I thought it was absolutely beautiful. I might have to go drive one this weekend.

I have to admit... when i was 16 the first car i wanted was a 1980's datsun 300Z. I saw a video online once of a dudge that transversly mounted an LT1 engine in a 300Z and man that thing just murdered the road... i wanted that.... the 370 is a very pretty car.

I really don't give a crap what the nissan boys think about the Camaro. Seems kinda of little to go to their forums and dig up what they are saying about the Camaro to post on a Camaro forum. Who cares! JMO

I think the Nissan is akool car but i honestly think that fanboyism is great. The boys of Nissan lack the heritage and tradition that we have here with the Camaro. I don;t see anybody resto-ing any 1983 nissans or anything
It's something we hold dear and will always for years to come, thats why they brought it back

gm should put up some videos on the website, Nissan has them all over theirs. Seriously what is wrong with gm's advertising department?

The Z has a nice interior much better quality than the Camaro. But the Maro has a much better exterior.

The Z is like a "boy toy". Nice to look at but its got no heart, no soul. After the first night, it leaves you unsatisfied.
IMO just little boys with little toys.

I Like the Z but idk the 2 passenger thing kills it for me

while the Z owners can only have one Hot girl in there 370

We can have 3!

the blue looks nice on the Z to bad at CIAS some punks stole the shifter nob

370z = sewing machine... remember i had one i drove it everyday for 2 years... and i had alot of money invested, and pushed out over 430 hp to the crank with greddy twin turbo set ups using garret snails. and it still didnt have the torque... i would never go forced induction again though... either way...

370z = sewwing machine
im sure it handles great and all that fun stuff but...
there are so many downsides to a 6cyl for perfomance when you could just have a base vette... for a bit more...
i mean the 370z is a beautiful car by all means...
zero practicallity but decent looks and decent performance...
while settle for that when you could have more of everything for the same price...

my opinion... dont ever buy a 2 seater unless its a true weekend car
or if you never have nothing to do...

one time i had my girlfriend and a friend sitting on her lap and her little friend in the trunk...

but a very valid point... 3 girl comfortably

The impression of much greater size: Camaro vs. the 370Z throws people. imo
When a 370z driver catches a glimpse of that Camaro SS looming in his rear view mirror, it'll be too late.
Expect to see them pulling off at the next exit ramp.

And to the one comment that someone would never own a GM product, to each his own, but I will NEVER buy a foreign car for as long as i live, let alone a Pissan
