I took my car to the Dallas Raceway last night to see how it would do after getting the 3.73 gears installed. With 95 degree temps I still managed to break into the 11's on street tires.. I couldn't get any grip. I will have to get some slicks or drag radials and wait until fall and try it again..
Here is my time slip.. 11.986 @ 119,91 MPH My Corrected time is: 11.835 @ 121.434 MPH Please add me to the power adders list.. |

I understand the use of DA times but perhaps we should use the official NHRA adjustments. These are used for NHRA events and are OFFICIAL. Just sayin.

L99 with Roto-Fab CAI only (no tune)
Here's my best time as of 14 Jul 10. It was on my eighth run that night (I know...crappy RT--I'm working on it!).
I've been to the track twice now. Both times, the temps started out in the mid 90's, then dropped to about 87 degrees or so when I got my best times. My previous best time (last week), was as 13.55 seconds. This time, I squeaked out 13.52 seconds. I've only added a Roto-Fab CAI. No other performance mods or tune. I used the dragtimes site to correct the times. My time corrects to a 13.12 seconds @ 107.91 mph with a DA = 2553. Not bad, eh?

That's a good time in the heat this time of year. Because you have an aftermarket intake on your car, I can't include it in the stock category. When the weather gets cooler, you might want to run your car with the stock intake if you want to make the stock fast list. Or you could run your car in the heat and correct your time for the "unofficial list." |
