Wonder if it will also have a 100,000 mile drive train warranty?

That would be cool to be covered for a 100,000 track miles.

However based on a typical race track 70 to 80% engine duty cycle expect 5-mpg.

For a 100,000 miles that would be 20,000 gal of 93 octane @ $ 4.00/gal = $ 80,000 dollars.

Does the price of the Z28 really matter when taken in context of being used as a track warrior?
I'm sure it will have the 5-year, 100,000 miles powertrain warranty like any other Chevrolet vehicle at the moment.

Will be more expensive than a ZL1 IMHO. 65K base MSRP. This is going to be 1 badass car!

Try $52,995.
Look at the equipment on the Z/28....

F1-style shocks, hand-built LS7 engine (more expensive than the LSA), Carbon Ceramic brakes (thousands of dollars alone), super-light wheels, super wide (the ZL1 wheels are already about a grand a piece...special light weight rear glass, Recaro seating.....and option deletes (cost money to do that, believe it or not).

It will not be less expensive than a ZL1.
