Roto-Fab is pretty popular as you can tell. I went with a ADM CAI.

Its interesting how many people rave about the RotoFab intake even though Jannety's testing show it to be one of the weaker intakes. Not bashing just an observation.

Not with a supercharger, it's not. I have the dyno sheet to prove it too.

I am sure most have seen this chart but there might be a few who have not.

I went with CAI, Inc.

With all due respect, we don't really have the direct comparision of these units under the S/C application WITH the same vehicle to prove if it is weaker than the competition or not...dyno proves increase HP, but that is a given.

I am sure it is a great increase with all the same brands...

With all due respect, I do really have the direct comparison of these units under the S/C application WITH the same vehicle to prove it.

I had a CAI intake in my car with the supercharger and we dynod the car. Then we swapped to a Roto-fab intake and we dynod the car again. Same car, same dyno. The only change was the intake.

Here are the 2 runs on the same sheet.
Gray curve is with the CAI intake.
Red curve is with the Roto-fab intake.

Max. rwhp difference in only 5, but look at the large increase in hp in the mid-range rpms (where most of us drive). That's a 25-30 rwhp improvement with the Roto-fab.

I would be intersted to see these results with the addition of the ADM race scoop on the S/C application.

I apologize, I thought you were the tuning man. Not the "Everything you need man".

My quality of life has significantly improved.

Come on, man..I wasn't disrespectful to you, don't throw that back at me like as if we are all supposed to know you have the comparison.

CAI is about to release a S/C application so this debate is irrelevant in a couple weeks...

I was just using what you said you didn't have and saying I did have it. (Which I had mentioned previously, btw.) I had actually posted that dyno sheet last fall when they did the dyno tuning.

No offense intended.

I'm all in favor of seeing more and better intakes being made for multiple applications. I'll keep an eye out for the new CAI intake for supercharged cars you mention! Thanks for the info.

I've heard some CAI's have not been compatible with their Camaro and would throw codes in the car's computer.

I bought a G5CR and it works perfectly, no codes, high quality, easy to install. I don't know why this CAI isn't more popular but I would buy it again no question.
