Well....For Those who care. I just got to Drive a new 2SS. Actually the one that bumped My car because of the Cyber Gray Restraint.

To Round out the Day I got a TPW ( bout time , Week of June 8)

Now if wasn't enough for one day my dealer also asked me if I wanted a Magnuson Supercharger kit on my car ( Obviously for an additional cost)
and I just couldn't say no!

To Make a long story Short...Blower is ordered. Checking on Exaust (Edelbrock supposedly makes Headers and exuast or is in the Process)

And of course a K&N air box to round out the package....

Don't want to see the bill but I sure can't wait for the package and Car to get here.

Dealer will be installing everything! Awsome Dealer !

So sit back and wait now....

It will look great sitting next to My Charcoal Metalic Gray 1980 6/71 blown Z28.

Bought it Brand new has 30,000 miles.

30 years later, Cyber gray Blown, 2010 Camaro SS. How ironic...

I will surely keep the posts going as the process comes together

TPW June8 ...blower kit supposed to be here in june as well.

What kind of price tag with dealer doing it? Any warranty?

I have been stuck at 3000 forever so my dealer called and this is what I got...

"we called the gm business developement center and pushed their buttons. your ref #71-727859124. your production week june 08.(TPW)."
It wasn't on the last WorkBench. I will get another copy of my workbench Tomorrow. I will see if it has been updated. I do trust the dealer though. I have bought a lot of cars from these guys. As long as the factory is giving them the strait scoop.

Dealer says don't worry about warranty he will take care of it.

As far as the Blower is concerned...it probably will not be waranteed. Just guessing.

My dealer has already taken care of some out of warranty items at their cost just to keep me and others comming back.

so I trust them...we will see.

I know I am rolling the dice here but.... Go Big Or Go Home!

Cost for the poliched SC Kit was just under 8 grand for the entire kit.

I am adding exaust and airbox. My tech tells me we should be able to get 600HP at the rear wheels. We will see I have access to a Chasis dyno and as soon as the darn car and blower get here I will post the final numbers.

8k isn't bad, especially with a warranty. Better get that warranty In Writting and hope that dealer doesn't close.

Hmm that's a pretty sweet deal. If the dealer does the install they should warranty the work. Heh then you will have a blown car with their blessing !

Not bad not bad at all. But yeah..get it in black and white first !

I buid street rods and street machines I built and installed the motor and blower on my 80 z28.

No warranty's there. Blown a few motors up as well as rear ends etc.

Don't work on computerized vehicles hence the dealer install on the blower.

The Bottom end really sould have a forged crank lower compression and forged pistons but I will wait until she goes than add the heavy duty stuff and turn up the boost baby.

That is what I did with my 80'...It took a few years. Gotta pay to play!

This won't be my only form of transportation so I can mess around a little.

I also deal with many chevy dealers on a regular bassis so we will see what happens. This Dealer is Supposedly( They Say) the Largest GMC dealer in the Chicago Zone. They also sell quite a few caddy's and chevys. They will be around a while

Scratch the Edelbrock Headers and exaust. I was just informed that the only available exaust is a GM PP catback system ( GM doesn't have headers yet) or a Borla system.

Corsca Will have an entire system available soon.

Looks like GM Cat Back for now. $450 Then see what kinda numb ers we get before spending another $2600 for a entire Borla system.
