I guess I'll start.

Went from 4b to 4d today , what does it all mean ?

If my car was ready to ship (4b) why would it go back to 4d ?

SAME HERE... It means that, aside from the massive layoffs at my company, we should all drink this weekend and hope for better on monday and tuesday.

Seeing the delays that have occurred since my order date, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a new issue.

I'm in the same boat. Spoke with my dealer and the 4D status affected about 1100 recently built cars with manual trans. The QC process goes in priority of any R6P cars by VIN# sequence and the non-R6P orders VIN# sequence. Sounds like this is a short term thing. Keep the faith. I've been patiently waiting since February and believe me that this 4D status thing has not helped my anxiousness or nerves one bit, but I would rather them get it right.
