That’s the one that got away from me. It was the 5.7 with T-tops, 245 hp I think.
I remember it being very quick and more nimble than mine today. One day I hope to find one like it again.

great color, and was my 1st choice.....ended up with yellow.

I had a '91 Formula Firebird that was bright blue metallic, great color!

Blue was my first choice , but i couldn't find one with red leather or khaki. In the end, I felt like the black interior looked a bit boring to me. I went with nightfall gray with adrenaline red interior. But my first choice would have been blue with red interior. Although, now I am not so sure because after my paint correction the nightfall gray looks absolutely amazing.

I had 72 Chevelle SS 350 in Mulsanne Blue, a 70 Chevelle SS396 in Fathom Blue, and a 79 Z28 (my 1st new car) in Bright Blue Metallic. We considered Hyper Blue Metallic for my son's new 17 Camaro RS but the wife/mother said no. Garnet Red Tintcoat suited us all bigtime! I have always liked blue muscle/sports cars by Chevy.

My 2016 RS is Blue Velvet. I dig it as it seems to seem purple-ish in the sun light, black at night, and not nearly as many running around as it was the least optioned color.

I don't hate the "Douchebag Blue" as my wife's 2016 Charger is about the same color, B5 Blue Pearl Coat. Doesn't seem to be nearly as many of these color Chargers as there are Camaros. She gets a lot of OMFG that's blue!

Her's is a daily driver, pretty cool 4 door grocery-getter. I drive a company Silverado. The Camaro is the "Date Night Car" = low mile pristine 2016

My IROC was an '87, in Bright Blue Metallic. It was only a 305, but, with K&Ns and a Hypertech chip, it ran pretty well. Would light up those 16" VR50 Gatorbacks, from a punch. '87 was first year w/HMSL in spoiler. In '86 it was at the top of back window. I also had a black '85 IROC - no HMSL.
