I am about to paint my hood. Which looks better to all you good people? The 2 or the 3 stripes? I don't want an all white hood and I don't want all black hood, so...?

Top looks much better in my opinion! Just enough white to contrast the touches of black I think.

I just joined the forum but...bought my 2017 SS 2SS last saturday and it is being loaded on the trailer today to ship to me 2,000 miles away. I literally cannot wait another second it is all I can think about lol. Bought it "used" with 609 miles and it was bought off the showroom floor only 7 months ago by an old asian couple....traded it in for an Audi A7...talk about a lucky find and 20k+ off sticker MSRP!

The 1LE stripes are cool, I can definitely appreciate them and appreciate the replies on them. They're just not for the black and mainly white theme I have going on. There is no red on my car. The taillights, rear side markers, rear diffuser reflectors... all black, and in white they reminded me of window stickers, just on the hood. (Assuming I'm thinking of the right ones. The "war" stripes.)

How about these? They are Chevrolet parts and look good with a lot less trouble and expense than painting the hood.

I do like the hash marks, but I feel it would be too much black, because I do want most of the hood black. They are nice though. I'm painting it myself so it won't be bad price wise.. $30-$40 for materials

I like that. That's a much better photoshop than my ms paint ones that take twice as long! I did have that one in my designs but I ruled it out because I wanted double stripes, but not the stock rally style option. I actually like that one better than the 3 stripes though. I originally was just going to do the 2, but wanted to see what others thought about the idea as well, which everyone seems to prefer over the 3 so far, and is what's most likely going to happen because of how I pinstriped my wheels. (different view below) Thanks for the reply though, and if I don't do the 2 stripes, I'm thinking I will do that.

Certainly not these which were on my car when I bought it last month. (since removed). A $540 option.
