its not always the case to "build" your booking! they will most probably have stock in the showroom, if not in the manufacturing bay. Your camaro would probably be manufactered already, its just the "WAIT TIME" till u receive it!

I may be misunderstanding the OP, but if he actually had a build sheet he is buildling a brand new camaro from scratch. Which is generally a 1.5-2 month swing now that the bulk of orders has subsided a bit....

All those "already built" orders have a destination. They are not sitting there...Oshawa is not storing these vehicles.

Not an exact science and there's too many factors but 6-8 weeks is a conservative time frame.

yeh, Japan ran out of CGM paint due to the earthquake, the paint drained into some deep hole and the furnaces were all burnt. No way theres any CGM paint available anymore

My order was submitted on 3/11 and was built last week. My sales guy shows a projected ETA of 4/15 at the dealership.

As a side note, I live in the state of Washington, which is about 2.4k miles from Oshawa. If you live closer, you'll most likely get it quicker.

Hope that helps!

Make sure that your dealer has an allocation for a Camaro. My dealer told me last August 28 2010 that I would get the car in 4-6 weeks but since he didn't have allocation I didn't get it for 12 weeks.
