I have 2 cars but I don't have both car keys on the same ring I take with me. Why do you need to bring all your keys with you? My keyring has my camaro fob, my house key, my mailbox key and my office key.

On a side note:
I drive an SS stick shift. You can turn you car off (ignition) by rotating the the key back towards you... while driving. This happened to me when I first got the car and had a bunch of crap on my key ring. I was changing lanes and I glided my hand around the wheel to manuever. Well, my finger got caught on my keys and they rotated back, turning off my car... while I was going 35mph after sunset... powersteering, brakes, and headlamps went out. I freaked out for a sec before I remembered to pop the gear into neutral and start my car back up while it was moving.

That was probably the scariest thing I had happen to me in my car and it was the fault of having too much crap on my keyring. If this happened to someone who was a noob with manual transmission they might have wrecked due to loosing efficient steering, breaking and lighting. Becareful, having too many keys is not just annoying...

doesn't the wheel lock up so you can't turn at all?
edit: or is that only if you take the key all the way out

I don't see why you need more than one fob per key ring, or more than a couple keys. i like being able to fit mine in my pocket too

They key hole in the car isnt meant to be load bearing.. More than a couple of keys is not good for it and can cause the insides to wear out and break. (Not to mention jam)

I carry only one vehicle key at a time (the vehicle I'm driving). The house keys, etc, are all on another keyring in my pocket.

So, I think I can get it down to a set that uses the three car keys w/ fobs and the house key. Too bad the other vehicles don't use the same style fob/key as the Charger and Camaro where it's all built into one.

Yes, it is bulky. I typically take it out when I'm at home/work, otherwise there are jokes about bananas and being happy.
Its happened that you have been out of the house and needed one of the other car keys? Do you take every car you own everywhere on a trailer? I don't get it.....

around our house, we have 9 vehicles so instead of carring around 9 keys on one key ring we have 9 diff key rings for each vehicles.

so each car has its own key ring + plus a house key on it.

even the spares

You can only drive one car at a time, take only one car key with you. Leave the rest on a key holder like this one.

Unless you can drive both of those cars at once I'd say that you have too many things on your key ring. I have my camaro key and a key fob (for work) on one ring, and all other keys on a separate one.
