Painting brake calipers

i am tired of my break calipers looking so dull. i plan on painting them either red or orange but i still would like to have them say brembo. i have been looking around for brembo stencils but can't seem to find any. i was wondering what size should the brembo print be so it looks like the red aftermarket brake upgrade....

try looking for decals. What you want to do is paint the caliper, then apply the decal over the top (when dry). Very easy, and you should spend less then $5 a decal.

Would decals work? Brake calipers get hot. I would think that the decals would melt.

I don't want to post a link, I'm not sure of the rules if it isn't a site vendor, but a quick google search for brembo brake stickers shows that there are special high temp decals for the calipers

Did not know they had High temp stickers - good to know as long as people use them.

Powder coated is the way to go, but to do it right is expensive! Paid $600 for rear to match front with the white brembo lettering. This is for them to take them off, takem apart, put back on and bleed brakes.

I had mine painted by showstopper. He used high temp paint and they came out great. Two years later, they still look great.

Did you do some of the work yourself, $200 sounds right if you took the calipers apart yourself and had someone just powder coat them.

High temp paint works fine. You have to be EXTRA careful not to let brake fluid touch it. But mine were painted 2 years ago and still look great.
