2012 Camaro ls fog light wiring

I have installed the fog lights for my 2012 camaro, but I need help with the proper wiring so they turn on and off with DRL's, because I currently have them connected to the fuse box directly and I am using a switch, but I am scared of leaving them turned on. Thanks

Couldn't you have just taped into the DRL wires that were already there?

I don't know where to locate the wires plus which ones to hook them up to.

Easiest thing would be to buy the harness from Ofer(2SSRS) it connects to the side markers tho not the DRL's. That is how I have mine set up, they turn on at night with headlights.

You could just tap into the side markers. But they will only come on when lights are on.

You could tap straight into side marker but then u would have to use low power led bulbs which are expensive, the harness i got uses power from the battery and has a relay connected to the side marker. I didn't like the idea of using t-taps into wires. The harness just plugs in, its worth the money.

With the harness or tapping they only come on at night or if you use the dash switch to turn on side markers you could use them as DRL's basically.
