I suggest MaureenM@Rodgerschevrolet. Painted and shipped for arounf $460. Plus you have peace of mind knowing its OEM, and going to be warrantied etc if need be. Mine should be here in a week.

I understand the coverage but thats a two hundred dollar paint job for two small pieces seems pretty high to me.

That is a good price. Try getting a quote from a quality local painter.

So far a hundred bucks from my chevy dealer locally so I may just buy from parts taxi and have them paint them be 380.00 you would think someone would be all over this trying to sell there products pre painted for a decent price they come ready to paint so I really dont understand. Why there is such a huge price range the demand is pretty high for these so its a good money maker for someone. Especially when u buy in bulk you can get them even cheaper im sure.

From the research that I've done, there are three vendors selling these painted. And as noted above, Maureen has the best price.

The biggest factor in pricing is the OEM part pricing. Some dealers/parts departments strive to give the best price possible on parts, others act as if that is what is keeping them in business. I've tried several times to support my local parts department, but when I can get something shipped quite a bit cheaper than they are willing to sell the part (before tax even) to me....it's not hard to figure out my decision.

So far, Maureen has had the best prices on all of the OEM parts I have priced and purchased. Her prices include shipping (which is still cheaper than other sources) and you get great customer service. And I've received my orders in 2 days.

But, as you have pointed out, you are lucky enough to be able to get the parts and painting at a good price. Lucky you for doing your research.

Lets start a group buy on rockers with Maureen? The part cost can't go much lower, but paint and prep probably has some room for discounting.
