Custom Goodyear (any tire) seems foolish now that we have custom Pirelli and Mustang GT350S are on The indomitable Michelin PS2.
GT350R has Sport cup 2 not PS2. And 99% can't afford a $2,400 set of
4 SC2 tires that last about 100miles. I love the G:2 and the new compound is even better

The rear spoiler is looking great, I'm no fan of the SS Spoiler. But the flat black hood only fit bright colors imho.

Overall a nice package

Based on the press release, the only things lacking in the 1LE from a 2 SS is the heated steering wheel , and heated / power seats ( recaros were never cooled)

Retrofitting heater elements would be about $300, and the steering wheel would be more complicated but with suede you won't notice the cold like you would on leather...

As for the hood... It's vinyl.... Peel away when you get it tinted out.

Those gun metal wheels will look great with NFG...

You lose the lane alert, but keep the back up camera...

Seats are powered, nav available, HUD standard

Am I missing any other options from the 2SS?

Didn't see any good pics of the Recaros...

EDIT: Spectrum Lighting Available as LPO ( DarknKnight or Structura)

1SS only is a deal breaker. My 14 1LE was 2SS, anything less than heated leather seat, premium sound, etc is a for a nearly $50K car

Upgraded stereo
Light show and light up door sills
Safety features that are on 2SS that are not standard on 1SS.
Maybe a few more?

If you look closely in the video of the SS...towards the very end it looks like some light emitted from the screen...could that piece still have spectrum lightning?
If so, that may go for the cup holders as well...for the doors you still fix that through accessories

Hopefully Chevy will offer a 2SS option if they see people are fighting for it

The deal breaker for me is the 1SS. If it was the 2SS I'd buy as soon as possible. I guess it's just a waiting game

Glad to see the '1LE' returning so quickly with the Gen-6. And, also glad to see it offered on the V6, though, I wish it were also offered on the Turbo-4, then we would have something like the original SVO Mustang, the only Mustang I have ever owned. I had planned to order the V6, so this is great news. I hope I can still get the sunroof?

Dear GM: you guys did an awesome job. Zero complaints. Only praise! 1SS was the logical choice and having the package available for V6 enthusiasts is fantastic. The gen 6 is an a** kicker!

Ps. Is this green the same test color that was seen on the Holden VF Commodore?

Still no auto love. They had a chance to one up and sway some customers who would have loved a auto gt350 too

Then they offer it in a v6.

I have no doubts in its ability to beat a gt350r, the 1ss looked favorable to the gt350.
