If you don't get caught, you didn't break it.

I would ask the LEO's here about tampering with a license plate or obscuring it's view...I believe it is illegal in most states. Hard to prove the spray one though.

If I had to worry about that sort of thing, I'd get some, for sure. Fortunately out here in the boonies, it's not an issue. Cops do it the ol' fashioned way. They prefer to present you with your ticket personally. It's just a more down-home approach. Besides, then you can spend a little time catching up, seeing how things have been since the last time you saw each other in the store and you heard how his daughter was about to graduate or whatever.

That's exactly why most states are stopping the "white van" speeding tickets in the mail thing. The ticket must be "personally delivered" according to most state laws, and that means handed to you or placed on the vehicle by the officer that catches the violation. You should see these vans and cameras slowly disappearing. They tried to change it in some states to remove the "personally delivered" part, but the citizens voted against removing it.

My friend was in Colorado, and he got a "toll fee" for 20 dollars mailed to him and he wasn't even speeding. They charged him 20 bucks to drive on the highway. How BS is that???

Not quite. Yellow means stop if you can do so safely before the intersection.
