Hey from the Ken
Hey folks! I'm currently shopping for an SS here in Kuwait. I started out in American muscle ('67 Mustang fastback), gravitated to imports (still have my EVO 8; gotta have variety) and back into American muscle. I am choosing the SS, preferably an SS2/3 because I like the options and I really hate how the Mustangs cheaped out and don't come stock with the Brembo brake system unless I get a Shelby GT500 and the interiors just don't add up unless I am getting into a GT500. Yeah, that seems shallow to dwell on the brake calipers, but I've come to appreciate Brembo brakes on my EVO 8, and the other thing is my wife hates Mustangs unless it's the Shelby, so I guess I'm good to go. No, I'm not a flavor of the month guy, I just know what I like, and I'd rather have an SS that is smooth, sexy and fast out of the box versus buying something I kind of hate and would see myself spending my quid on stuff just to get it to look right, sit right and sound right. This is my first journey into the bowties and I am hoping that it is going to be everything I am imagining it will be because my wife won't let me buy anything unless it's an SS because she says they're sexy.

Ken, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

We went to the Chevy dealer last night after I got off work, and it looks like we'll be getting a black 2013 SS with Inferno Orange interior. The stock 20 rims are different from the previous model years, and I am not really digging them. I like the previous model year ones best, but then again I am looking at acquiring the ZL1s, even though they are going to cost a grip. If they offered the 1LE here in Kuwait, I'd wait for it, but all we have is the RS, SS and ZL1.
