What's everybody using to host pics/videos now that photo bucket wants $$$ to keep pics up?

Like above, I also upload directly to the forum off my PC - going forward.
The PhotoBucket ban on hotlink of pictures unless ~$400 YEARLY ransom is paid to them is laughable (10 years = $4,000). I've contacted their Customer Non-Service to ask how they expected some existing customers that are students in Middle, H.S., college, and some senior citizens to afford that. They replied back with a URL pointing to where I can change my account type and pay the fee. And if I had further questions to send an email to a specific person, which I did, and they just made the suggestion that I pay the fees. They also suggested if I wanted to add more GB storage they offered to charge me even more in additional fees -- well that is not going to happen. A fee based system will probably mean almost all of their customers will be leaving that hosting service in mass numbers. So been downloading my library, what a pain ... and then getting rid of hotlinks as I stumble across them now and then. Rob10CamaroSS, read a rumor that PB accounts with medium to large number of photos are affected first and lesser ones will be affected more down the line; some kind of sliding scale ... small basic account WITHOUT HOTLINK ability is $60 per year and with hotlink it starts at $400 per year and goes up from there depending on how much storage. Uploading from phone or PC is best, but if you need a cloud to share, check your service provider. I know Cox has free 50gb of cloud storage and I can make it available to others as read only. Also, Microsoft offers free cloud storage and a SharePoint presence for free with Office 365 account. Alot of PS users have that for free and don't even know or use it!

Youtube for videos.
Message board control-panel albums and direct uploaded attachment for pictures (which I use depends on how ambitious I feel at the moment). Norm

Google photos works too but for this forum, I usually upload straight to the forum

I thought the forum only allowed limited amount of photos for upload. Did they change that?

I've hated Photobucket for the longest time... I use imgur for photos and YouTube for vids.

Have started doing forum uploads directly. Once photobucket started their whole thing about third party sites, I downloaded all my photos off their server and deleted my account.

I didn't realize we could upload directly to the forum. Way back when I joined was last time I really looked into it. Long week of work and wore out, long week this week too. Should have used the search button I really dont like the cloud idea as I dont want to upload all 9000 pictures off my phone and last time I tried to set up one, thats what it wanted to do. And don't get me started with Verizon cloud. Unsecure ****. Thanks for the replies, I will dig deeper and try out the search button lol.

When you are composing your message use the paperclip one up and left of the image icon to attach files.
But then the forum sofware won't resize your images like it does with linked images.

Imgur, the days after PB pulled their fast one. I get that moving forward new images uploaded wouldn't transfer but to remove all past photos on my sites, blogs... that was the last straw.
