Wink

GXP is misleading it should be 2010 Camaro SS vs Pontiac G8 GXP drag video - close as there was more than one Pontiac GXP (Grand Prix, Bonneville, G6, Solstice, etc).

G8 GXP is no joke. Stock for stock it is a drivers race.

Agreed. I thought it ment the Solstice at first.

The Camaro smoked the G8 off the line big time and it still the G8 was able to catch up. My bet is that the G8 had a couple more mods done to it than the Camaro.

Mods, you may be right. But the Camaro just hit the light much better than the GXP. Looks like the GXP driver was asleep at the wheel.

My wife has a G8 GXP 6m its seems a little quicker off the line with the 3.70 rear gear and shorter tires. The Camaro should out run a GXP being a little lighter, stock vs stock its a drivers race.

cool video. I have drove a G8 GT and a Camaro SS and they felt about the same to me. there were several months in between but still. either way they are both amazing cars to drive. I wanted to drive a G8 GXP but there are none around here where I live.

Pretty sure that's my camaro in the video. I go to PBIR every week and have never seen another CGM with white stripes. Pretty sure i still have that time slip as well. The camaro is bone stock and managed a few tenths better since that video was taken. I don't know if the Pontiac was stock or not, but it was hard to tell if it was a GXP by looking in my rearview mirror.
