Tire Treatment
What's the best product to use to keep the tires clean and glossy black?
Any products out there that you would stay away from?

Armor All is crap. I used to rep for the company. It deteriorates rubber/vinyl. I reuined a set of US Divers equipment by spraying it on after diving season and letting it on all winter.
The Megiuars Natural Shine works great and doesn't destroy rubber or vinyl. http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/produc...p?T1=MEG+G4116 |

I use Black Magic tire shine as well!
And Patriot, I think that is protectant, not tire shine, but thanks for the information on Armor All. I won't be using it anymore.

A simple test is to take a sample of the material you wish to use it on, trimmed to a known size. Immerse in Armor All overnight, then remeasure. It will have grown. If the compound you immered the sample in has no effect on the sample, no dimensional change will occur. |

This stuff works great. It's a gel and you apply it with the provided applicator. No over spray. Sticks on the tires for about three to four car washes. I've been using this stuff for years. Never had an issue.

I really like Zaino. I've tried everything Armor All, Black Magic, Turtle Wax, and Meguiars offers plus some other small name brands. All of them slings, don't last more then a week or so, is too shiny and looks like someone painted your tires with high gloss black paint, and attracts dirt like a b**** so your tires look dirty after 1-2 days on the road. All of them I've used once or twice and threw away.
Zaino's doesn't have that extreme gloss look that the others has. Its very durable and looks clean for 4-6 weeks before you have to redo it. |

Yeah, Zaino Z-16 is more about keeping the tires black, rather than wet. Also, it stays on the tire and off of the paint. Excellent stuff.

i like the black magic titanium,it makes the tires black like Zaino I like the way Zaino makes the tire look like you just left the tire store with some new sneakers.

Has anyone used Black Magic Titanium Matte Tire Finish?
They have a pretty compelling video on their website. http://www.blackmagicshine.com/produ...te-tire-finish I've tried damn near everything over the years and I'm tired of getting crap spread all over my nice clean fenders. Heck, whatever the dealer used before delivery ended up on the sides of my car before I made it home. I'll probably give this stuff from Black Magic a try and it that fails, I guess I'll pay up and get the Z-16 from Zaino.

Stoners is the best. cost alittle more but stays shinny and doesn't turn the tires brown.
