Interior led lights problem.
Hi.
I installed some interior led lights and used the cigarette lighter adapter to power them. The problem is the lights are dim like they aren't getting enough power. My question is would hooking them up to the fuse box though an add a circuit make them get more power. Thank you ! |

What kind of led lights? I'd say it's almost impossible the draw on those would be too much for the power that is supplied through the cig lighter.

Unless your adapter is hosed up, it should be the same.

Yeah, I think that fuse is set at 10amps. If you were pulling more then that it would pop. There is no way your led's are taking more then 10amps.
Take one of the light strips and wire it up by itself real quick and see if that is making a difference. If you have never used them before it might just be that they arent as bright as you imagined them to be.

An easy way to test the strip is with a 9v battery.
