I just got word from AutoAnything that my JBA shorties won't ship until 11/20
They said the delay was at the manufacturing level.

AutoAnything does not have these in stock, they ship from a distributer in Cally. No biggie, I can wait and glad I got in with the 10% discount with free ship.

I also got a quote from a small local performance shop who will do the install for $125-150. He looked at my car and said there was plenty of room to work.

its ok milk, parts are kinda at a stand still as it is..but ive been posting on here for ya..so dont worry about keep up..i still post on here everytime i find a piece that is noteworthy...i gotcha back..i think Scrming even keeps up with this thread and comments as well..very good thread worth not losing to lack of upkeep. so everyone chips in with it.

This is the intake they sell for the G8, same discription. Something fishy here.

• Produces a real-world 35hp+
• A direct bolt on
• No chopping or cutting on the car
• Unreal throttle response
• Flows 1400-2000CFM+! (Depending on the filter used)
• Reduces 0-60mph by a full ½ second! (As tested 5.2 stock vs 4.7 & 4.65 best with
VR system NO TUNING!) With a tune, we saw 4.4 sec but no grip to go faster.
• Reduces ¼ mile ET by 3 tenths and adds +3mph Minimum Guaranteed, or we will
take the unit back and pay shipping both ways!
• (NO TUNING) w/ tuning you will go even quicker.

Had to cancel my order for the headers. I noticed recently on the AutoAnything site that there's a new disclaimer.

JBA Part #1816SJS
Direct replacement for factory manifold
Not street legal in California or states that have adopted California emission standards.

Looks like PA has adopted the Cali standards and I wanted no hassle with future state inspections or warranty issues.

I called JBA and they didn't know when they would get the 50 state CARB E.O. number that would gaurentee the modification.

Time to look for something different.

They do state that it is basiclly the G8 version, and the G8 does indeed sport the 3.6, unless it's a GT.

Vararam has not made a V6 intake kit for the Camaro. They have stated that the G8 and Camaro kits are slightly different. So I wouldn't be too sure on getting that.
