Question 4000 triple disk stall help!?!?

Can anyone give me some advice how I would launch my car with such a big stall? And how I would be able to get better traction I just bought a set of Micky drag radials. I went with a big stall because of my turbo lag. I just want to be able to hook on the streets for street racing any input is greatly appricated oh and what do you think my 60ft could be?

A turbo doesn't need a big stall for starters. Turbos need engine load to spool quicker. I think you'd have better results with a 2800 personally. Stall speed should be about 500-800 below peak tq. A stock LS3 makes peak tq at like 4200 and I'm quite sure that the turbos are making a whole lot more tq down lower than n/a. That is a big stall though and you are gonna have a hell of a hard time getting that thing to hook on the street.

Hmmm.

Converter size is also driven by power band, gearing, and a bunch of other stuff.

4000 sounds big but we run a high 5xxx in a class car.

Probably need a 2 step.

Problem with these cars is always hooking 1st and 2nd gear with our deep gearing.
