need help in louisiana - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

ok i am waiting for my fed. income tax to come in and when i do i plan on going get my exhaust, i'm gonna go with borla long tubes along with borla s type catback. need a good reliable shop to do the install and tune if possible.

I hear a lot about Thunder Racing in Baton Rouge. People say they do outstanding work. The tune, they go with Jeff on that and he's good. Jeff tuned my camaro ss (LS3).

I would say Thunder Racing also. they have a nice place on the south side of BR. Even a dyno for ya if you want. Prolly get my tune there after CAI and MRT v2 are installed.

Yeah, when you get your car back you should be good to go. Whatever you get it will be done right 200% (from other customers).

yeah i emailed them yesterday and got a quote of $3200.00 for borla long tubes s type catback all installed and tuned. now i just have to wait on my income check.

Check out Ragin Racin in the Scott/Carencro area. They are really big into the LS's, they've done several C5 & C6 vettes. I'm headed there tomorrow to get a custom tune

They did my baseline dyno run and I just finished installing (my brother actually did) my CAI & full exhaust so I want it tuned and we'll see how much more hp those bolt ons make.

There's also Futral Motorsports in Gonzalas?? they did a tune and exhaust on my son's 07 Silverado.

Yeah I spoke with Shawn a few times and he's a really good/ cool guy. His best bet will be Thunder Racing just because they are close to New Orleans. But if he don't mind the drive (2 hours) to Ragin' Racin', I say go for it.
