Lucky for me I found a 2014 takeoff set of polished rim/tires with about 600 miles so I swapped out both rears, below is what I'm left with, sweet! If that ain't a freaking score I don't know what is!

Xd400 (25% gain), stock BA speakers, JBL 12" sub, JBL 770 peak sub amp (25% gain), all tucked in via ******** kit!

Yeah, we FARK'd up your car but good!

The car really sounds great now. Don't blow your eardrums!

I bet you spent less time cleaning up the boxes and leftover wire than you did sitting in the car cranking the system to get the feel of all the sounds you'd been missing.

Want a real treat? Turn on pink Floyd the wall part 1, close the doors, crank it... Just listen... Part 1 and 2 should be present on all iPods! Part 2 is the one everyone knows, but listen to part 1.

I'm still not sure I used enough zip ties. You might need a few more...LOL

I doubt it's related, but just last week I realized when I reverse the backup sensor "beep" sounds could barley be heard... Any ideas how to fix this?

Update:

Just realized my rear dash speakers are the issue.. They are barley audible. Hmmmm

I faded the volume to 100% rear & sure enough that does seem to be the prob... The rear speakers are barley audible :(

If you have replaced your amp, you need to zero your fader and use the gains on your amp to set the speakers. Also make sure the rears are set to full range and not have them low-passed because that will obviously filter out the sound. I get that that a lot.
Also, if your amp's rear channels are turned way down low then the tone will not be very loud. Revert back to above.

Thx for the reply.. Camaroshark installed the entire fark & sub system for me 9 months ago, everything worked fine including the rear sensor beeps.

This just seemed to happen last week or so..

Aside from what you described any other reasons why the rear 6x9's would suddenly go into whisper mode?

Dunno, maybe they are shot. I'd check all your settings first and do what I suggested. Remember the tone is set to expect about 50w. If you don't send that much, then it will not be as loud as factory. So having the gains set right is very important.

In addition to the backup tone.. Any music (even cranked to max) is also barley audible on rear dash speakers.

Again, is was all working fine for 9 months until now. No changes or adjustments have been made since install.

The JBL sub that came with the subthmp kit lasted about 11 months of use lol it died today on the way to work, RIP.
