Thanks for the pics Mark! Now I'm even more impatient for mine to arrive. The surprise was awesome! Having friends who take ownership in building these cars is a definite boost to the pride of driving one.

Congratulations, Mark Best of luck with your 1LE.

The splitter, etc. usually come to the parts dept. with your VIN and are installed during the PDI. Love the white color, my son wanted BRM so that's what we ordered. Now the rest of us are drooling...

i agree, definitely a great final pic...tara, have you got an eta for yours yet?

mark, definitely not tired of seeing pics, but i'm not gonna hound you for more. i'd prefer to think you're too busy enjoying the baby before winter sets in!

Ozzy,

Mine still shows intermediate shipped 4300. Becky says it's in the stripe shop getting the hood wrap. My ETA date is November 8th, but I hear the storm might delay deliveries a bit now.

MY 1LE is about 5 miles from me :( It still has to be put on a truck to be delivered to the dealership and then they have to do their business with the splitter and mechanical test and cleaning...etc. Hoping to have it by Wed :P

EDIT: This storm here in VA is supposed to be worse tomorrow though so it might not make ANY progress tomorrow :(

I had the splitter installed today. It is an almost two hour procedure that takes a whole lot of rivets. The first picture shows the bracket that goes on first. I also picked up the Oil Separator kit (with full color instructions).

Your car looks awesome! I'm glad they got everything squared away with the splitter and oil seperater. It looks complete now.
