If you ever want to know if you have any patience or not, pull the motor out of your car and wait for a new one to come in. It's brutal.

While I'm waiting for my motor I had been saving some money and found a Fast 102 intake for sale from a fellow H-Town Camaro Club member for a good price. I dropped it off, as well as my strut tower brace, to have them hydrodipped at Houston Hydrodip. I am very pleased with how they came out!!! I can definitely see this becoming a new addiction.

Thank you. I wanted to do something different, everyone seems to do red as their go-to color, and I've only seen yellow stuff added to yellow cars. I like how it's come together so far. The CAI and fuse box will be removed and hydro dipped to match the strut tower.

So far I am absolutely loving it! Right now the car is detuned with stock injectors to allow me to break the motor in. It's damn fast! I'm averaging 14mpg, on a road trip this Sunday (highway only) it got 21mpg. Anything specific you're wanting to know?

What part of TX are you in?

What's the bore/stroke to get you to 417? What kind of Pistons are those? Forged rods? Heads? Cam? Springs? Valves? You know, the usual. What kind of power are you expecting?

CP Pistons 4.080" Bore Pistons
PRC Stage 3 CNC Heads w/ Dual Springs & Stainless Steel Valves
(I just copied and pasted that from the details I got from FSP.)

It's set up for twin turbos if I decide to do that later.

I'm not familiar with Golden Triangle. I went to SFA in Nac.

Haven't updated this in a while. Over the weekend I installed a Z/28 grill with a Flowtie, and a JDP towhook. I also removed that stupid chrome strip. I am very pleased with how it came out.
