Hey man, I'll post one of mine when I get home from work. I have a 25 minute ride and I'll take the video before turning off the engine to give a similiar result if it matters

I never recall mine being that loud or having that tick to it.

I want to say it feels a little down on power...I've been noticing some sluggishness to it...

that sounds pretty much like the typical "ticking" that direct injection engines have, but a bit louder than it should be? maybe your camera just picks up the ticking noise really well?

i'm on my 2nd 2012 v6 camaro and the first one sounded just like that. the one i have now started out with a louder idle than the first one, but quieted down quite a bit once i hit about 800 miles. now, it's quieter and smoother sounding than the first one.

direct injected cars have a noticeable "ticking" to them because of the high pressure fuel pump that is driven off one of the cams. yours sounds juuuust a bit excessive IMO, but so did my first camaro, soo...

Yeah I did get a video. My exhaust at idle and the insects at night drowned out the clarity of the video. That mixed with the actual running of the engine and it sounds like 'white fuzz' on an old TV.

It wouldn't even be worth posting it lol.

Wouldn't hurt to get it looked at. That's what ya got a warranty for

I've just gotten used to these cars 8eing plain noisy, LOL. With the direction injection, high pressure fuel pump, all those cams moving around, these little motors just make a ton of noise. Ah well. I LOVE her just the same.

Mine is nice and quiet and I have over 25,000 in less then a year. For the most part I drive normal, but I do love to chirp the tires and get up to the speed limit as soon as possible.

Mine sounds just like that. Really loud and damn embarrassing. I refuse to go through any type of drive through, because it makes it hard to hear both ways. It doesn't matter if the engine is cold or warm, the sound/clicking is constantly there. I can just barely hear it in the cabin with the windows rolled up. Just need to find a time to head to the dealer for them to look at it. While I am there, I going to start up a few other LFXs to see if they are the same.

That'll only work on later models equipped with Mr. Fusion.

Do you have any lightning rods handy?
