I've seen the Paxton ECS kit very nice set up good numbers too ECS are good people

Yeah Chris. When I do out this centrifugal supercharger on the car, what do I need to upgrade in the fuel system. I want to make minimal boost. I want the car to still be drivable. Also, it's not a huge problem that will affect me, but what will the impact on fuel economy be with the addition of the supercharger. With stock being 16city/24 highway. Which I'm sure you already know.

You can run 7-8 pounds with a boost a pump and upgraded injectors and be fine. I run a Procharger at 8psi and I love the kit plus I feel that Procharger has the better head units available. Nothing against ECS cause they are top notch but some people feel the need to always knock Procharger for some reason when they don't have one.

Your fuel system will be limited to how much power you want. Most, if not all, S/C systems come with fuel injectors and a BAP. Your fuel economy will be dependent on your right foot. When I got my blower put on, it dropped because I was just having too much fun, but I reset the screen and drove more conservatively, which brought me back up to where I was. If you decide to go for more power, that is when you'll see the fuel economy drop. One thing that will affect your wallet will be gas. It will be HIGHLY recommended that you use Premium gasoline to help prevent detonation. My car as it sits now I drive every day.

I'm not biased against one or the other. They both do the same job. I think it comes down to preference and those being partial to what they have or who they work with.

Pro charger vortech Paxton all will make your car insane , good problem when every choice gives you alot of power

Wasn't directed at you. I wish I had the money cause i'd have a ECS car and a TT car to go along with my Procharged one.

ProCharger offers complete kits with upgraded fuel injectors and programmer or Tuner kits if you want to pick your own injectors and have a custom tune. In our experiences, the combinations are very docile as far as everyday street manners.

The ECS and Vortec kits are TOP notch IMHO.
if you lay out all the parts side by side to Procharger you will see why we sell these more than "others"

Give us a shout when your ready we wont be under sold on these kits or installs on them!

x2 on the Procharger kit, fit and finish are superb.

the details on the vortech are awesome. Even the instructions for the most part. Everything is covered, and covered well. A couple things are out of order IMO...but all work.

It's running well....had to send head unit back for an oil leak, but they took care of it with no issues.
