Looking for someone that can swap a dash in a 2010

My dash is cracked at the airbag. It's 2010 car 2SS, and I am thinking to upgrade to a later model unit with a HUD cutout to install a HUD kit.

Anyone close to East TN with experience to take on a task like this? I've read up on it, and I am not willing to butcher up the job on my own.

Thanks,

Gotcha. I was curious there is a guy in my area that runs around to the different dealerships. He is a vinyl, leather and plastic repair guy.
I saw him repair some cracked dashes, its nearly unnoticeable by most...you might see the repair because you know where it is.
So depending on how bad it is, perhaps someone like that can at least make it better.
I think the technology he uses is actually for bumpers...but

A local tech quoted me 9 hours to do the swap. He is a good guy, but has never done one before.

I recently found this same crack and I am thinking of doing the swap to a 2012. Was there a 2012 without the HUD? I am not interested in the HUD.

Yes. HUD was an option.

I would not glue, or otherwise attempt a repair, where the crack is a design feature to give way to the airbag.

Yes. That's why I would consider it more of a separation than a crack.

If I recall correctly, we had a guy at Camarofest who swapped out his dash in the parking lot at the fest. LOL
It was the indy one I think.

Ofer (GEN5DIY) helped. Someone stole a part of the kids car while it was apart, too.
