IOM Interior Trim kit install

Today I received my IOM Interior Trim kit from Chevy Parts Plus . The install itself wasn't that bad at all. I was taking my time and didn't want to scratch the back side of the panels because they are painted. Which kind of surprised me. I also noticed that these panels have all the holes and brackets for the ABL. I have the connection port on my car, but because I have a 1SS at over 75000 vin# I didn't think it wasn't operational.

So here are a few pictures.

Nice job, looks good!

I've been thinking about doing this kit in my summit white w/black interior 2ss/rs just to give it a little pop, maybe paint the calipers IOM too. Glad to hear the install wasn't bad.

Looks good now you need to add the ABL all the way around, where in AZ if you don't mind

Ft. Huachuca is where I am right now.

I would add the lights, but due to the fact that GM has disabled the power source It would be to much work for me to get it up and running.
I like to work with my hands, but I can't tie up my car in the garage for days on end. Need to get to work some how.

For the doors you only need to use the wires for the light in the doors window switch and a ground, That light works with your dimer so its the same.

+50 and how about RJT, since it is the only extra cost color that doesn't have a matching interior trim?

Anybody do this in the switchblade silver? Does it match the console and instrument panel bezel trim. I see 2 color designations for the kit 92241177 silver (GAN) and silver (GMPP) Pics please

It's not bad. The bolts come right out, and they only thing you'll need is a trim kit to pop the clips near the window. The door level rod is a little tricky, but if you're careful it comes off easy. Cables, well those are fine. You just have to know where the release tab is on them.

Taking the stock trim kit off will require you to use a small cutting tool to remove the palstic rivits. Nothing to hard, just take your time.

To put everything back together you may want an extra set of hands just to make it a little easier, but not needed.
