There is a hole in the front outside of the drip pans for water to drain out in front of the engine.

Hey Mike quick question about your Hex Vents. Is it easy to remove the splash trays and re-attach them as you please. Like if I wanted to take them off when I go to the track and re-attach them before I leave would it be easy or a pain?

Easy! Just remove the 4 allen screws on each one and they come right out.

I wish they had a cover or plug for them when it rains. I don't plan on using my drip pans.

I left Big Red out in the driveway for 15 minutes. Went out to move it into the garage safe and sound and saw this! I'm glad I had the splash pans on or it would have been on my engine! Thankfully 4 screws and 5 minutes later it was all cleaned up! I love my Hex Vents....apparently so do the birds!

Vents look good Mike, nicely done.

And how dare you take your car out of the garage before May 1st, have you no will power man?!?!

Big Red goes under the knife today! At RDP today to finally get the 3.91's installed and a dyno tune! Woo hoo! I've been waiting 4 months for this and I almost had to cancel due to the weather. I decided to chance the 3 hour drive in torrential rain! Thankfully the freezing rain stopped last night and it warmed up just enough. I encountered heavy rain on the interstate and started hydro planing like crazy! had to slow way down to stay alive!

Anyway, I'm here now waiting for the work to be done. I'll post more pics later and hopefully a video!

Haha! Risking life and limb for a mod, never thought of it that way!
Now I just need to look away and let the pros do their thing! I can't stand seeing someone else working on my car, freaks me out! I have a hard time trusting shops, too many bad experiences! Good thing is these guys (Steve and Jason) are very good at calming my fears and helping me relax! I'm watching John Force videos in the waiting area! They even unfolded a couch thing in case I need a nap! Lol!

I agree. Whenever my car is at a shop, I drive the mechanics nuts. I had G-Max tires put on before the first snow this winter. While they were installing the tires, I was standing outside the garage door, in the cold, watching everything they did and that wasn't even an invasive procedure! Lmao.

Looking forward to updates.
