Where is my car????

Maybe someone could help me? I just got off the phone w/ the gm service line and was told that the car had a delivery inspection and was done on April 07 by the dealership and has a warranty date of 05-03-09. Vin # 000293 i have been told by the dealership that they don't have my car yet and have no idea where it is. Should I suspect that they have my car and are giving me the run around? I find it odd that a warranty could start without a car and what does dealer inspection mean, does it mean they physcally checked the car over in person?

If you dont find it on a lot you should show up on the big unveiling day on the 6th. Then when you see your car sitting in the showroom with fingerprints all over it you can lay someone out. That or GM C/S is wrong and they actually sill have your car on a quality check. Anything is possible.

You, my friend, are a trouble maker. What's up, Jeff?

I don't think trm0002 has his VIN #74 yet either. I can't help but suspect it has something to do with the May 6th big event. How is anyone to know with nothing but silence from GM?

Go to the dealership. Ask them to show you the order status on their computer. Make sure that it is not 5000 or higher.

All great ideas, thanks, but what does dealer inspection mean? Does it mean the dealer inspected at the dealership or at the plant. Also why would the car have a warranty start date of May 3?? Has anyone with low vin # received them yet??
