seemed like I had a similar buzzing noise on the driver's side muffler, but since I've gone to CB, all good now. Something coming loose(metal, steel wool?) probably the culprit..

Well I go to my firehouse from home a lot which is 3 miles away. My commute to work is 15 miles in traffic. While this may be causing it, it shouldn't happen, My past 15 cars (all GM except 1) haven't had this problem with the same driving styles.

I'm not familiar with leases to be honest but thats how I always understood it. Either way it really doesn't have much to do with the issue I am having as I own this car and its under warranty.

I'm wondering if your problem is the reason that I had to sign that.

Is that true? I'm really tempted to get that exhaust now =o

Doubtful, my problems are with the factory exhaust that came on the car, not an aftermarket one.

Put longtubes and Corsa on and all your exhaust problems will be fixed.

I know there was some dude that got credit for his exhaust which he just used to purchase an after market. Also heard a guy got an after market spoiler cause of the paint chip issues.

Have you asked your dealer? Do they sell after market or the GMPP exhaust at your dealer? I am sure a savvy manager could work something out. Dealer gets paid either way...

Good luck either way...I will probably end going to Paul Conte as well/eventually.

Yes spend $2000 to fix a problem I shouldn't have.

I would love a Corsa (but not longtubes too loud), but I don't have the money. I would like my car to work right as is and not be forced into spending money to fix what shouldn't be broken.

Yeah Ive heard about that too, but I'm not sure how much of that is the dealer eating it.

They do sell aftermarket stuff for the Camaro there, I haven't went there yet about the newest problem. I want to wait till it gets really bad to cover them and myself. So they can send the exhaust to GM and say this exhaust is 100% ****ed.

I'd try to give this a shot. Can't hurt anything. My factory exhaust was ok, but it was only on mine for 120 miles. lol.

best of luck to you.

Yeah, but those trash can mufflers look so chinsy. I'm not surprised they're making these type of harmonic noises.

thats what he would have because he signed the lease agreement prohibiting exhaust or other un approved modifications......

Point being signing a non modification clause on a leased car (and not even a V8 like mine) has absolutely nothing to do with the factory exhaust failing 3 times on a purchased car, except that the car was from the same dealer.
