On this side of the 'tuner' table... windows 7 has done nothing but screw up everything we do. NO ONE runing windows 7 seems to be able to upload, download & email a file without some issue.

Luckily for me... I've had zero problems with 7 and my tuner

but I'm not an apple hater at all... I'm thinking about getting my wife one for the house.

Because of the work I do... I'm kinda locked in to MS..

My hubby is a programmer. We have:

a twenty something inch iMac (running linux)
a 15" MacBook Pro
my iPhone4
my iPad
kids each have iPod Touches
kids each have their non smart cell phones
a linux netbook
a compaq 17" laptop
hubby has a work taptop or two
hubby has a G2 in the mail & a blackberry for work (hate that thing)

I think thats it.

Very cool.

I'm am a big fan of 7 but we prefer the apple stuff for our mobile toys.

I have a BB for work also. Meh... it's reliable but not the best ui.

my wife is either gonna end up with an Ipad or a macbook...

we both have Itouches but I'm thinking I will give my kids mine and get the new one.... should have waited for the camera....

Sounds like your Husband has a good thing going.

Again, had I bought a new kit I'd have been on the road since last week. All of this tuner stuff is just to be sure.

Of course I still need to find a tuner here. My guy has pretty much refused to do it without a BAP.

The program works just fine here at work.

I just don't get it. I was finally able to get the file off using the PC at home, but the screen is still cut off. What a pain.

Hang in there, the amount of "hands-on" time for the install you're probably doing pretty well, and having done my install myself, I like knowing I did it, that if I have a minor problem, I can probably identify and fix it. When finished put a plaque label on it, saying installed by "PQ" and/or "...pretty and pretty dang fast".
