CTS-V 6 pot Calipers on an SS rotor?

Can the CTS-V 6 piston calipers be used on Camaro SS rotors? Either OE rotors or aftermarket rotors (such as Baer Decela-rotors).

I'm 99% sure the answer to that is no. You need the correct size rotor for the caliper.

They will not work, you need CTS-V calipers too. You can find the CTS-V calipers, rotors, pads, and pin kit new for under $1,350 without shipping. You just need to add brake lines and paint. Sell your stockers to help offset the cost.

That's great guys, thanks for the replies. Yeah I know Racing Brake rotors would be the numero uno choice, but I'm not ready to drop $2K on rotors for a car that WILL NEVER auto-cross or race and sits in the garage 98% of the time!

I've seen pictures of CTS-V rotors that have the "hat" painted black and that makes them look super sharp! But I don't like the way the rust forms on the rotor itself and there isn't any way to keep that from happening, is there?

As others said, you will need the proper rotor for your caliper setup. You can use stock CTS-V rotors or ZL1 2 piece rotors, but there is more to the swap than just calipers and rotors.

We do have a CTS-V conversion package available with everything you need including lines and fluid for a very affordable price. Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler
