Some specifics on the 3.6 DI

Now given, that link is for the CTS, I assume it will be comparable. Now, there are many interesting things that this engine offers but one thing in particular caught my eye. It has a completely forged rotating assembly. Could this be GM's version of a supra engine? Maybe 500+hp on a stock block? With a turbo of course... Does anyone think the forged assembly will make into the Camaro version? |

You said forged rotating assembly, but are the pistons forged? Because I know the 135 and 335i have forged rods and crank but supposedly their pistons are cast? Wtf lol...
