what all discounts/rebates are out there now?

I ordered my 1LT with RS and sunroof and some other goodies, I traded in a 2011 SS when I ordered it (12/17), I don't plan on doing the financing and signing papers until Feb , when the car comes in.

What discounts or rebates are out there that I can try to get when the car comes in , or is it too late?

im trying to get oil changes for life and he about choked when I asked the dealer about it.

I wasn't offered any rebates or discounts either , what can I try to squeeze out of them now! lol

If I understand your post correctly you have given the dealer your trade in last month when you had them order a 1LT for you.
Therefore you've put the dealer in the "drivers seat" when it comes to negotiations.
You may still want to search this site and learn about private offer, conquest rebate, college discount & supplier pricing.

Not sure I understand... You gave your trade in as the down payment already, so the dealer has your car... Did you sign over the title yet? If not, it's still your car. If you signed the title over already, did he put the value of the trade as a deposit? Did he cut you a check? Is he holding your money until the car comes in?

I wouldn't say the dealer is in the driver's seat. If he already negotiated price, then there isn't a problem. That is, if he is financing through an outside lender.

we got a trade in value on the car as a down payment WHEN the new car comes in..

OK, so you still have your trade...

The answer to your original question then is that you are entitled to any rebates that are valid at the time you sign the papers for your car. Your trade in and the fact that you are financing have nothing to do with it.

I believe the conquest rebate has expired, and there is a "Private Offer" of $1000 that pops up occasionally on GM's web site, but unless the re-issue the offer in February, the fine print says you must take delivery by 2/1.

The Farm Bureau is one i didn't know about, however after looking at it, supposedly you need to be a member for 30 days before the rebate is available.

They also have some college discounts and i think military discounts, but unfortunately, they aren't going to throw a whole lot of rebates out there for a brand new car. If you were buying a 2015, you would likely find more and get a much better price, but they are less likely to discount a newer car.
